About Us

Navy veteran trading submarines for the open highway.

Twenty years in the United States Navy — most of them spent hundreds of feet underwater, running sonar aboard fast-attack submarines. When the orders dried up and the uniform came off, the question wasn't whether to keep moving. It was where to point the bow next.

The answer turned out to be a fifth-wheel and a pickup truck. We sold the house, packed what mattered, and hit the road. From the Pacific coast to the Florida Keys, from the Black Hills to the Sonoran Desert — every mile feels like a new port of call, except you can sleep in your own bunk every night.

On this blog, we share the real-deal stuff: finding boondocking spots that don't require a decoder ring, RV maintenance lessons learned the hard way, and the kind of breathtaking places that make you wonder why you ever stayed anchored in one spot. Veterans and civilians alike — everyone's welcome aboard.

We're not influencers. We're just a couple of people living an extraordinary life and sharing what we find. Come along for the ride.
